Knitting New Years Resolution

So I made several knitting New Years Resolutions.



1. Learn the magic loop method. So I have knit myself a tube at this point but I did learn the magic loop method. It is a lot easier then I was imagining. I am still not confident enough to switch to it instead of double points when finishing hats. That will be my New Year's resolution next year!!!

2. Do multicolor work. So here was my first attempt at fair isle knitting. I think it went pretty well. I enjoyed the pattern. I think I held the yarn too tight when I switched to double points because it is a little pointy but otherwise it fits Justin very nicely.

3. Make something I can wear.


So I got two accomplished before the end of January so I think that is pretty good. I'm trying to decide on what pattern I want to use for the wearable object. Maybe it will be a next year resolution too!!
