Finished

I'm finshed with my basic cable hat. I sent it to work with Justin on Monday to give to his co-worker. It fits. I only had one mistake and it was easy to fix before I got to the point of no return. I am going to make another hat for Justin and I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. oh and that is my husband being the supermodel for me.

Basic Cable Hat

I like to make hats. Just so you know. I was asked to make this hat by a co-worker of my husband. He helped us with a fish emergency and instead of my offer to make him dinner he asked for a hat like my husband's. So for this pattern which is in Stitch and Bitch Nation I use Encore Worsted. I really like how Encore looks in hats.










It is a very easy pattern. I can get it done in just a couple hours. I modifed it some. I added a few more cable twist to increase the length. I also went up a needle size to compensate for his big ol' head.

I'm back

After a year away, I'm back. I'm five weeks away from graduating with my Bachelors in nursing and after that it is time to get back into knitting.

But for the moment I must go cough and take a test.
