Saving Birds

So we are the hub of several bird's nests. I say even wild birds know that Justin's a sucker for birds. In recent weeks we have had doves to bluejays hanging around our front porch.

Well Friday night we took a run to Walgreens and I noticed something small and furry by the car. Thinking it was a mouse, (I wasn't wearing my glasses) I made Justin go look. It turned out to be a very young bird. We startled it and it "flew" into the garage. More like jumped while moving its wings. Justin went and got his leather gloves as to not leave oils or whatever on the bird. We picked up the "so ugly it's cute" bird and placed out into the yard. We woke up that next morning and the bird was gone. Hopefully back to his nest with his mommy!!
