I'm back

I am alive. I survived tonsil surgery and the horrible recovery. Tonsil sugery sucks. Just in case anyone was wondering. I spent a lot of time in a drugged stupor loathing tonsils, but I learned a few valuable lessons. I discovered that you can have too much ice cream. Children's liquid ibuprofen should be banned. Humidifiers are a God send. 3 days of having Mimi over can put a lot of weight on all my dogs. Justin is a good nurse. And lastly that I'm a horrible patient. But I feel a MILLION times better now! So here is what you missed during my hiatus....




This was a favorite pasttime during recovery. Justin watching TV. Dogs passed out on Justin from being filled to the brim by Mimi. And me trying to comprehend anything with the hydrocodone hangover.




Justin then decided to build a deck so with the help of Bob the builder. I have a new deck.

The railings. Justin also put in a ramp for the dogs to charge up and down but only Misty uses it so far.






Katilynne came over one day and played in the sprinkler. Misty and cousin Karly also enjoy playing in the water.

Misty can play in the sprinkler for hours. Why can't I get her to stay in the bathtub for a bath though?


Karly just liked to get wet and roll in the dirt. She's apparently a tomboy. Who knew a such a pretty face could get that nasty!!




I have had plates from KMart since my bachlorette days. I registered for some when we got married but decided I didn't like them. So I took them back. So I have had ugly deteroriating non-Martha Stewart KMart plates until my wonderful husband took me on a post surgery date. We went to Applebees and then went to Target and I got new plates!!!! Aren't they beautiful?














Well I'm updating for all of you who asked. :) I'll do more because I have several of Misty playing in the sprinkler that are just too adorable not to be seen by everyone.
