So to make a long story short we got a Flemish giant rabbit from a breeder who was getting rid of him because of an ear defect. (Which I think makes him adorable) We named him Dirk. So here is a photo chart of the growth in 1 month time.







As you can see we have had quite a bit of growing in a month. As you can see he has one ear that doesn't stand up and the other has a small bite in it from his mom. Enough of a defect to make him worthless to a breeder but pretty darn cute to us!

Cross the Line Tour

We have been planning to go to Joplin for this concert for a long time. It was part of our whirlwind mother's day celebration. So here are pictures from the concert.

First was Starlit Platoon. (Whose lead singer is the drummer for Superchick) They were really good. We enjoyed them a lot.


Second was Brit Nichole. She was very young but still did very well. She only did two songs. Which was kind of odd.


Then was Disciple. They were awesome of course. A few of the Superchick fan set were a little surprised to hear such a loud band. They were amazing.





Then was Superchick. Now normally I'm not a huge fan. Although I did know every song they played. (Barring the three from the new album) I must admit that it was a great show. They just put on a great show.

Tornado Damage

The storms that hit on May 10th affected many of Justin's extended family members. His great-aunt and uncle had skylights blown out. His cousin and his wife had their car windows busted. However his uncle and aunt got the brunt of the storm and lost their house. Here are some of the pictures I took while Justin helped them get some of their belongings out.

Finished Object: Danica

It's done! My first entrelac pattern. Zarah taught me earlier in the month and I was going to switch to good yarn when I got the pattern down. I didn't and it is less then pretty yarn but I have an entrelac scarf!

Trivia Night

So Schweitzer had a trivia night as a fundraiser for the youth mission trip. My family and another couple that is friends with our family got together to do "Blue Hawaii" the Elvis movie. It was chosen for two reasons 1 that Dena was born in Hawaii and 2 that Suzanne, the friend, is a huge Elvis fan. So we won best decorated table with the help of my sister we won best decorated table. So without further ado I give you Blue Hawaii
